UtopiaPeople was founded in 2006 by Stefan Ström (TVC editor) and Hanna Kallin (booking coordinator) to help clients quickly recruit and find freelancers for shorter contract jobs and permanent recruitment. The business started out locally in Sweden, but very soon after starting, we had made recruitments in over 30 countries and grown to over 10,000 members. Today the idea is still the same but we have also added other services to our portfolio. In November 2011 we also started representing companies and included freelancers working with new media (digital/web) in our roster. All our members and companies are represented on a non-exclusive basis. Today we work with TV, features, commercials, games, VFX and new media.

All of us at UtopiaPeople are here ready to assist you in your staffing needs. We know the business and can assure you that we will give your production our full attention. UtopiaPeople takes pride in being flexible to meet all your needs. Our service is free for all clients and we take a 15% agency fee from our freelancers on jobs booked through us. We also take care of invoicing and, when requested, administrate contracts and salary. UtopiaPeople also offers permanent recruitment and the option to advertise your positions in our network. When it comes to staffing we can also customize our work to suit your needs.

Freelance services

We offer you an International Network of clients that are looking for talents every day. UtopiaPeople also provides you with an invoicing service and many many other things in order to make everything smoother and your life as a freelancer easier. It is free of charge to register and to receive job offers. We are here for you and would never dream of selling your email address, harassing you with advertisements or any such thing!
